Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. How to Enter the Contest

a. The “McDonalds Junior Broadcaster” Contest will begin at approximately 12:00 p.m. Central Time (“CT”) April 3, 2006, and end at approximately 10:00 p.m. CT on September 14, 2006.

b. To participate in the contest, beginning on April 3, 2006 at approximately 12:00 p.m. participants must enter by mail by legibly writing on a 3”x 5” card their first and last name, age, name and age of child, complete address, city, state, zip code, and daytime phone number, and mail it in a hand-addressed envelope with first class postage affixed to: KRLD NewsRadio 1080, Attn: “McDonalds Junior Broadcaster” Contest., PO Box 190767, Dallas, Texas, 75219. For entries by mail, KRLD is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries. Each entry must be provided with proper postage and postmark. Entries remain valid for the entire Contest Period. Entries must be received by the station according to the deadlines listed below for each of the six (6) random drawings that will be held throughout the duration of the contest:

Monday, April 17, 2006;
Wednesday, May 17, 2006;
Wednesday, June 14, 2006;
Wednesday, July 19, 2006;
Wednesday, August 23, 2006;
Wednesday, September 6, 2006.

All mail-in entries must be received by 8:00 a.m. CT the day of the drawing to be eligible to win, for each of the six (6) drawing dates.

c. Only one (1) entry per person per household please. Entries remain valid for the entire 2006 season. Only one (1) entry per envelope. All entries must be hand-written. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted.

2. Eligibility Restrictions

a. The contest is open to all KRLD listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Employees of KRLD, its licensee, CBS Radio Inc., CBS Corporation, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b. Listeners are eligible to win a KRLD contest only once every sixty (60) days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six (6) months. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest.

3. Prizes

a. There will be a total of six (6) Prize Winners by the completion of this promotion.

Prize is an invitation for the winner and one (1) child of the winner’s choice to be KRLD’s guests in the home radio broadcast booth at the professional baseball game in Arlington, Texas, according to date of winning, as listed below (upon confirmation of eligibility) for approximately half an inning, and tickets for four (4) regular seats to the game:

May 17 winner: Thursday, May 25, 2006/7:05 p.m.
June 14 winner: Thursday, June 22, 2006/1:05 p.m.
July 19 winner: Friday, July 28, 2006/7:05 p.m.
August 23 winner: Thursday, August 31, 2006/7:05 p.m.
September 6 winner: Thursday, September 14, 2006/7:05 p.m.

(Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $200).

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KRLD Radio, 4131 North Central Expressway, Suite 500, Dallas, Texas 75204. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within five (5) working days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. KRLD is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash due to prize unavailability or where required by law. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. Selection of Winners

a. Decisions of KRLD station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Winners will be chosen by a random drawing from all eligible entries received at approximately 10:00 a.m. CT on each of the dates specified above in Section 1 b. of these Official Rules. Entries remain valid for the entire 2006 season.

c. Winners need not listen or be present to win. Winners will be notified via phone by KRLD.

d. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

e. If Prize winner cannot be contacted within two (2) working days of winning, winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing of all remaining eligible entries and notified by telephone.

f. Winners and their guest (or parent or legal guardian if guest is under the age of 18) must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within two (2) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen random drawing of all remaining eligible entries.

5. Conditions

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guests, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, KRLD in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their guests, if any) to sign a liability release agreeing to hold KRLD, its licensee, CBS Radio Inc., CBS Corporation and affiliates its officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. KRLD reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of KRLD, the professional baseball event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, KRLD reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of KRLD.

h. KRLD is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

i. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KRLD, 4131 North Central Expressway, Suite 500, Dallas, Texas 75204, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to KRLD.
